Staying mentally-Fit

Been playing too much recently :-P


Hooked on Plants Vs Zombies. When I first saw it, I said to myself "What a dumb game!!" Then coz my kids really wanted to play, I decided to 'vet' it first by playing it myself. Got hooked!!! In my defence, it's really and interesting game of strategy. and experts said that playing games is a good way of exercising our minds, which otherwise would rot with dis-use! So... I'm just doing the necessary to stay mentally-fit :-P

Oh, I also got hooked to an FB game called Zuma Blitz. Another 'stupid' game. But I have to do what I have to do for the health of my mind, right?

The Breastfeeding Classes I have been conducting are usually full-house events now. I'm really happy about it. Speaking to a full-house is more satisfying than having just a few people in front of me. To me, it simply means that more and more people are getting aware of the imprtance of breastfeeding, and they want to give their best to baby.

And yes, of course it feels great when I receive a call, and he went 'Are you the Gina Yong, who's the famous breastfeeding teacher?"

Parties

What have we been up to?
Ok, I'll admit it. We've been so busy having a good time. This blog did cross my mind quite a few times (usually when I was about to fall asleep), and I told myself I'll update it 'soon' :-P

So, it's been one party after another since Christmas

Christmas eve - hosted a pot-luck dinner
Christmas Lunch - hosted another pot-luck party
Christmas Dinner - hosted yet another dinner
Day after Christmas - attended a party
New Year's Eve - hosted a dinner party
New Year's Day - hosted another pot-luck party
Day after New Year - hosted a party for members of my church group (food paid for by group)

Monday after New Year's Day - withdrawal syndrome.

I do so love to have parties. And I do like hosting them. Kids love them too. My hubby? He's ok I guess :-)

So when's the next party?

This coming Thursday. It's a public holiday - Thaipusam Day..... and my birthday :-)
