Damian's Declaration

I have 4 children - Damian (12), Stephanie (10), Josephine (9) and Jeremy (7). Anyone who has seen and know them will agree that they're great kids.

Today's blog is about Damian. And since I'm hot on the topic on Declarations:

That's Damian, eagerly applying all that Mommy taught him! UPSR is 7 months away. I'm sure he'll ace-d it!

Damian is a wonderful son. A very good and responsible Kor-Kor. They say it comes from being the eldest child... I don't know, maybe it's the parents? :-D

He's a natural leader. If you ask his siblings who their favourite person is (besides Mommy and Daddy) they will say "Kor-Kor".

Last year for his birthday in April, I got a 26 inch bike for him. The bike was way too big and high for him but he was determined! As I watched him get onto his bike, my heart nearly got stuck in my throat. He fell!! But he got up and jumped on again. It took him only a week to learn to ride like a pro.

The other day, I was looking for my shoes and Damian had them on his feet. That's right, my first-born son can already fit into my shoes. It seemed like just yesterday that he was born. I used to hold him up with one hand. Now, he eats more than me. I used hold him in my lap and rock him to sleep, now he could give me a head massage to help me sleep. He could argue with me logically and his critical thinking skill is sharper than mine. My "little" Damian is growing up fast!

How time flies! How soon will it be before he asks me for the car keys? How much longer before I lose him to all the pretty girls? How fast will university come? Will his wedding come at the same speed as this?

I guess I'll let the past be recorded in my memories (and photo albums) and the future to take care of itself. I'll just enjoy the present.

On My Declarations

The declarations I wrote yesterday came from "Master Your Mind" a T.Harv Eker's Signature Seminar.

Have you ever wondered why it seems that some people usually succeed? And others seem to be constantly struggling to make ends meet?

The people who succeed know how to program their minds for success, while the others may be operating under negative suggestions or beliefs developed early in life which inhibit their success.

I have learnt (with many amazing testimonials from successful people) that the results of positive declarations are very powerful when used on a regular basis. I can have the power to reprogram my conscious, sub-conscious and unconscious mind and create what I want by repeating to myself these declarations everyday.
Sounds too good to be true? Well... I'm going to give it a shot anyway. After all.... no harm can come from telling myself good things about myself right?
